New islands, companions and the store
Your island is redrawn and framed closer, companions are drawn as animals that live on it, /shop and /craft are new cards, and isles.gg has a store for looks and island sets.

This update is out on Isles and isles.gg now.
Your island
/island draws your island from tiles now. Every island has the same shape: two beaches meet at a point, your house stands just behind it, your ships sit at the piers on the left and your pod at its dock on the right.
- The picture frames what you have. A new island is shown up close, and the view widens as you build, up to the whole island.
- Discord shows a picture at up to 600 by 350, which is 12:7. The island is 12:7 now, so it fills that frame.
- Turrets stand in pairs along both beaches, and each pier grows as you add ships.
- Your active companions live on the island: water ones in the sea and on the sand, land ones on the lawn, air ones in the air.
- When mail is waiting, the mail boat ties up at your dock. Your clan's banner stands on the lawn.
- Visit someone's island and you stand at their door, with your pod at their dock.
/farmshows your field up close, and so does the reply when you harvest and replant.- The stats card sent with
/islandis half the size it was, so it no longer shows wider than the island.
Island themes
A theme changes the whole island: the house, the ground, the trees and the grass under them. The store sells all four as sets.

- Candy has a gingerbread house on pink ground among sakura trees.
- Ice has an igloo on a snowed-over island, with snow lying on the trees.
- Space has a rocket for a house on moon-grey ground.
- Spooky has a dark timber house on purple ground.
Companions
Every companion is drawn as an animal now, and goes by the animal's name. Each one is the same companion as before, with the same perk, rarities and level, and eggs hatch the same nine.

/companion to see your active companions, here one from each home
- Every companion has a home. Water companions help fishing, land companions help farming and air companions help foraging.
- One active companion from each home makes a balanced team, and every perk gets 10% stronger. Three active companions from one home make a specialist team, with 25% more XP in that home's activity.
- Every companion gets a random nickname when it hatches, and the companions you already have got one too. Press Name it on a companion's page to pick your own, up to 20 characters, or leave the box empty for a new random one.
- A companion's page in
/companionshows it in its home on your island, with its level, its perk with your team's bonus counted in, and the bonus itself. - Set team to True in
/companionto see your active companions side by side. - In
/gift-petand/marketyou can type the animal, like sparrow. - The Companion Station in the shop's Upgrades is now Companion slots, and it shows how many slots you have instead of a level.
- Companion pages, hatch messages,
/gift-petand the market show new animal emoji.
The new look
/shop, /craft, the skills page in /profile and /dice are drawn as cards, with a new set of pixel icons. Every icon sits at a whole-pixel size, so none of them blur.

/shop
/profile
/craft
/dice- In the shop's Upgrades, each row says what you have and what the next level gives, with your level beside it: the farm's plots, your companion slots and how much the vault holds. Ships show your attack level, and turrets your defence level.
/crafton its own opens a card with a tab for each workshop, what its next level costs, and four recipes a page.- Each recipe lists its ingredients with what you have and what you need. Anything you're short of is red, and a tag says how many you can make, or the workshop level the recipe needs.
- Turn the page with the arrows under the card, pick a recipe in the menu, then press Craft ×1, Craft ×5 or Craft max.
- The skills page shows six skills with an XP bar each, and says what the next level gives you, including the stats that don't do anything yet. Magic stays hidden until something trains it.
Dice
/gambleis now/dice. The dice rolls 1 to 12. Roll 7 or more to win a sixth of your bet for each point above 6, from +17% on a 7 to +100% on a 12. Roll 6 or less and you lose the bet.- Roll again places the same bet in the same message. Only the player who rolled can press it.
The store
isles.gg has a store for looks and island sets.

- Eight onesies: Bee, Bunny, Cat, Cheetah, Frog, Kitty, Panda and the Stealth Suit, which comes with a night-vision helmet.
- The Cool Outfit, the Suit, the Propeller Cap and the Sun Hat.
- Four theme sets: Candy, Ice, Space and Spooky. A set is the outfit, the hat, the island with its house, and the pod, and it costs less for each piece you already own.
- The Islander Starter, once per account, in your first 14 days on Isles. It gives you 50,000 coins and a Common companion you pick, and your vault grows by 50,000 so raids can't take those coins.
- Sign in with Discord and the store draws every item on your own avatar, with your skin, hair and hair colour. Tap a set to see each piece in it.
- Everything goes in one cart. Each line is for you or for a friend who plays Isles: type their Discord username and they get a DM saying who sent it.
- Things you already own show Owned, and adding a set takes its pieces out of your cart.
- You pay once, through Stripe. Each line is delivered on its own, and if one can't be, because your friend already has it, only that line is refunded.
On the site
- Sign in with Discord from the bar at the top of any page. Your picture and name open a menu with Profile & wardrobe, Purchases and Sign out.
- Profile & wardrobe is where you change your look, with tabs for Outfit, Hat, Hair, Skin, Island and Pod and a preview of your avatar on your island. Press Save look and the game uses it from then on.
- Anything you don't own yet is locked and says where the store sells it.
- Purchases lists what you've bought and whether it has arrived.
- The pictures on the home page are drawn by the game itself.
- A page that doesn't exist shows a dancing crab.
Smaller changes and fixes
- We rebuilt how the bot stores player data, to make it faster and more reliable.
